Worm Pump or worm pump is a type of fluid pump that uses worm gears to move fluid from one place to another. Worm gears are gears that have teeth shaped like worms. This worm gear is mounted on a shaft that intersects with each other. When the shaft rotates, the teeth of the worm gear will rub against each other and form small gaps. Fluid will enter these gaps and then be transferred to the other shaft. Worm pumps are typically used to pump the following fluids: Oil, Oil, Resin, Paint and Chemicals. The use of worm pumps is usually for engine oil pumps, hydraulic oil pumps, paint pumps, chemical pumps, and waste water pumps.
